hiring rooms & cafe

Our online calendar (just to the right) can help you to plan bookings of our facilities.

It's a good venue for dances, theatre, concerts or fund-raising nights, for private parties, exhibitions, or carpet sales. It's wonderful for live music, its acousitcs being commented upon regularly by touring professional musicians.

In our Main Hall there is a stage and a changing room. There also are stage-lights & a large cinema-screen, which can be used by agreement withour local drama and cinema groups.
About 120 seated - 160 maximum.     Here's a plan.

We also have a good sized lounge-type room, and two further small rooms suitable for meetings and small groups (such as music practice).
We now have a bright and airy bar (built in early 2012), along with kitchen facilities. The bar can be hired to support events, and is staffed by a friendly and competent team.

Contact us to find out whether there are times when our cafe is available to hire. Good way to raise funds for local groups - here are the terms

About the Birchmeadow

Broseley's Birchmeadow is a much alive, well used events and activity Centre. It's owned by the Town Council and is used for its Council and public meetings. The Council seeks, then, to ensure that it's well run for the benefit of the Community by its independent Management Committee.

Committee members (Trustees of the Charity) seek to make the Birchmeadow an attractive venue for top quality live music, for dances, amateur dramatics, and various other activities that set out to meet the needs of the people of Broseley and its surroundings.

In recent years the Council and the Birchmeadow secured grants to help refurbish parts of the building, and the Council has provided essential maintenance works. The Committee is keen to make the most of all our spaces to broaden the use of the centre, and to include training, health and fitness activities, and children's functions (including those that can exploit the safe and easy access onto Broseley's outstanding Birchmeadow Park).

The Birchmeadow's rooms are available for both private and commercial hire - it's a wonderful place for parties, or for presentations and training events, and for music and theatre. There are notes about our some of our regular users and others via the links at the bottom of the page. Please contact us to enquire or to comment.

Working with its user groups, it offers a range of presentation and entertainment facilities, with a range of rooms for different kinds of function. Just ask.
